One Change. Treat & Aid

One Change. Treat & Aid (OCTA) is a nonprofit organization with the sole purpose to end homelessness in the state of California. We use research and data to find solutions to homelessness, work with federal and local partners to create a solid base of policy and resources that support those solutions, and help communities implement them.

Our strength is that we are an outcome-driven organization. Starting with our name and continuing with how we choose the work we do, allocate staff time, and use our resources, we focus on one thing: ending homelessness.

This mission is what drives us. It is how we measure our impact.

Since OCTA is still in its beginning stages, several student-run branches in areas such as, Irvine, Los Angeles, and La Canada, have started bicycling campaigns to spread the cause of our group.

Meetings

Each of our branches are led by student-run groups in which they assign tasks to each person, allocating jobs to multiple people.
We strive to one day be able to make an obvious and ever-lasting impact on our global spread of homelessness.
